Overview
A pack-out is the part of a restoration job nobody explains. Structural crews arrive to dry and tear out, and to do that work they need the house empty. That means everything you own is going somewhere — and for most homeowners, that is the single most frightening part of the whole process.
We treat it as a documentation job first and a moving job second. Nothing leaves your home until it has been photographed, numbered, and written into an inventory that you receive a copy of. If an item cannot be saved, it is documented as non-salvage with the same care, because that record is what your claim is built on.
Every item photographed and numbered before it moves. You get the list. So does your adjuster, in the format they expect.
Fragile, high-value, electronic, and sentimental items are separated and packed differently. A box of dishes and a box of photographs are not the same problem.
Some things genuinely cannot be recovered. We photograph and log them rather than quietly discarding them, so nothing on your claim is a guess.
Detail
Crews arrive with cartons, wrapping material, and labels. We start in the rooms with the most exposure and work outward. Furniture is blanket-wrapped, small items are boxed by room, and every carton is numbered against the inventory. Loading is done by hand, and the truck manifest matches the inventory you were given.

Most residential pack-outs take one to two days depending on the size of the home and how much is affected. We can usually be on site within hours of your call.
